Navigating Challenging Conversations

All too often, conversations arise that need to be had but are difficult to navigate through in an effective and productive way. This class will focus on some of the more common challenging conversations transgender individuals and their families face. We will cover communication tools and techniques to set you on your way to positive communication with friends, family, partners, and co-workers. We will start with discussing a variety of techniques and then practice them together to allow a chance for everyone to try them out and see how they feel and how they work. This class is open to all as issues with communication are something we all face and we all benefit from furthering our skill set in this area.

Redefining You

Whether you are just beginning your journey as a transgendered individual or have traveled this path for a long time now, there is no doubt that this evolution requires a complete transformation of both you and your relationships to others. This class will explore the process of becoming the person you aspire to be. We will go through activities that will help you define where you are and set you on the path to where you want to end up. The process of redefinition is continual, but it has to start somewhere. Now is the time to start that transformation.
