Gail Ruginis

Gail has been a professional makeup artist for over 15 years. For the last 3 1/2 years, she has specialized in the art of Airbrush Makeup, a revolutionary makeup concept that has finally taken the beauty industry into the new millenium. As the only Certified Airbrush Makeup Instructor in Canada, she teaches a comprehensive airbrush makeup course that has recently been incorporated in some Professional Makeup school curricula. Gail's course is recommended to members by both I.A.T.S.E. Local 891 and A.C.F.C. West 2020 and has attracted students from as far away as South Africa. She regularly conducts workshops and seminars in the local school districts and provides airbrush makeup mastery to many film and theatrical productions.

Film and TV productions include a personal hiring by Academy Award Winning makeup artist, Jeff Dawn, on the set of "The Sixth Day", as well as "Josie & the Pussycats" and the Award Winning Docu-drama "The Earthquake Zone." An exhaustive list of stage productions include "The King & I", "Fiddler On The Roof", "Oliver!", "Guys & Dolls" and "42nd Street." She recently opened a revolutionary new day spa where she provides exceptional professional airbrush makeovers to the general public, as well as hair fashions, nail artistry, massage and aesthetic services. She has twice been nominated for "Woman of the Year" and once as "Business Woman of the Year" by the local Chamber of Commerce.
