Prof. Jeff Mauger
Professor Mauger holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology and is a Professor of anthropology and sociology and is the Interim Dean of Arts and Sciences at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, WA. His areas of study include anthropology and sociology. Previous work includes archaeology in Alaska and coastal Washington, museum curation and exhibits. His interests include gender issues in anthropology and sociology; Northwest coast native art; he is an active silversmith and galleried artist; and a slide guitar player with a basement band (I own the bass player-he is my son-and we are always looking for a drummer). In recent years, he has coordinated Esprit speaker's panels at Peninsula College for individual classes and open public forums.
