Dr. Patricia Fawver, Ph.D.
Dr. Fawver is affiliated with the Institute for Advanced Study of Human Sexuality, ACS. Her specialties include clinical sexology, transgender issues, erotic variations, integration of sexuality and spirituality, sexology as a distinct discipline, and sex and advertising. Her practice provides seminars, workshops, and staff training in the areas of individual and couples counseling, sexual function, gender issues, sexual enhancement, desire differences, sexual orientation, and alternative lifestyles. She practices in the Tacoma area. The Therapist's Role: Helping the Client Move Towards A Gender-Congruent Life This class presents a look at the transgender experience based on extensive professional experience in counseling TG patients. Couples Issues Co-presented by Dr. Fawver (frequent Esprit presenter on gender issues) and Dotti Berry (facilitator of the Significant Others program), this class looks at the issues faced by couples. The perspectives of the transgender individual and the spouse are both examined. |
