Christianity and GID: Reconciling Your Faith

This will be an initial lecture followed by a discussion session on what the Bible has to say about GID and Transitioning and dealing with the spiritual problems (such as guilt and shame) stemming from growing up transgendered. We will also focus on countering the arguments and attacks made by the religious right/mainstream evangelical-fundamentalist institutions on being T and going through transition.

'Wholistic' Healthcare for T's: Before, During and After Transitioning

This presentation will concentrate on healthcare issues affecting T's beyond just cross-gender hormone treatment. It will deal with the psychological and emotional stressors encountered by T's, 'deleting' unhealthy pre-transition habits to reduce health risks during transition thereby cultivating a new lifestyle to go along with your new gender, and will cover the health maintenance problems important to T's after transitioning.
